Thanks for the very lovely introduction Jack. The first thing I'd like to touch on is a little band with a big sound called Clair. Formerly known as Big City Bright Lights this band hails from Brooklyn with a unique sound all their own. Clair melds country twang with soulful pop to make something worth listening to. Lindsay Clair Sullivan, the band's lead singer/song writer/pianist is the motivation behind the bands hard work and success. Her influences range from anyone like The Beatles, Loretta Lynn, Wilco, Neco Case, and Otis Redding. Band members include Brenden Boehning on Guitar and vocals, Tim Collins on Drums, Ellie Everdell contributes vocals and is multi-instrumental, and Dan Loomis on bass. The group is currently recording their debut album at The Fort in Brooklyn. Be sure to try and catch them around town, their next show is at Rockwood Music Hall on April 3rd at 11:00pm. Welcome Back

A BIG welcome back to Theor-ie after taking some time off. I had been traveling, but am back and ready to get this blog off its feet. I have invited a very good friend of mine -Dina Behar-to contribute, welcome fabulosa!
